New Features

  • Rig Data tab – promoted out of the Notes & Framing sub-tab strip into its own top-level tab in the graph view, matching the earlier Inspiration -> Object Info promotion.
  • Multi-project session indicator – the journal dashboard’s Project column now shows a “+N” badge for sessions linked to more than one project. Clicking it opens a panel listing the other linked project names.
  • Desktop app version display – the About modal now shows the Nova Desktop app version alongside Nova’s own version when running inside the desktop app; no change for normal browser use.

Improvements

  • Remote skyglow computation – skyglow profiles are now computed by the external nova-skyglow-service over HTTP instead of locally, with a one-shot check at startup to backfill any active location missing a cached profile. New optional .env settings: SKYGLOW_API_KEY, SKYGLOW_SERVICE_URL.
  • Compact icon-only Save/Delete buttons in the dashboard toolbar, fixing the German/French “Remove Filter” label overflowing off-screen.
  • Filter controls resized to fit in the tab row after the Gallery tab was added.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed “Download PDF” silently doing nothing inside the desktop app – reports now print via the top-level window instead of a nested iframe (which the desktop app’s print override can’t reach), and a stray leading blank page is fixed too.
  • Fixed config/journal/rig YAML and session/project CSV exports opening inline instead of downloading when used inside the desktop app.
  • Fixed confirm/alert dialogs (rig/component deletion, catalog import, and other confirm-gated actions) silently failing inside the desktop app – replaced native confirm()/alert() with a custom async modal.
  • Project detail and report pages now include sessions linked via the multi-project relationship, not just a session’s primary project. Heads up: project-level integration totals are no longer mutually exclusive – a session linked to two projects contributes its full time to both, so summing totals across projects can double-count.
  • The “Find Duplicates” tool now returns a proper error message on failure instead of a bare 500 with no feedback.
